Flower Bond

Flower Bond means:
a type of U.S. government bond that, regardless of its cost price, is acceptable at par value in payment of estate taxes if the decedent was the legal holder at the time of death; also called a deathbed bond. Bonds issued after March 3, 1971, are not acceptable in payment of estate taxes at par value plus accrued interest.
