Payroll Deduction

Payroll Deduction means:
a reduction of the amount paid to a worker from the gross amount earned. Reductions are made for taxes, voluntary savings or pension contributions, union dues, and insurance premiums. The paycheck reflects gross pay less these payroll deductions.
