Reserve Days

Reserve Days means:
the 60 extra hospital days that a person can use if a long illness necessitates a stay of more than 90 days in the hospital. These days are part of the Medicare hospital insurance program (Part A). The reserve days are not renewable like the 90 hospital days in each benefit period; once used, they are gone.
