Residential Energy Credit

Residential Energy Credit

Residential Energy Credit means:
a tax credit granted to homeowners by the federal government, as well as by many states, for improving the energy efficiency of their homes. Most of these provisions expired in 1985 and were not renewed, but solar energy, geothermal energy, and oceanthermal biomass credits have been extended over the years at reduced rates of credit (now called the business energy credit).
