Cash Dividend
About Cash Dividend:
Cash Dividend (property Dividend) is a cash or property payment to a corporation's stockholders, distributed from current earnings or profits or accumulated earnings and profits, and taxable as income. If there are no current or accumulated earnings and profits, the dividend is a return of capital to the extent of stock basis. Cash dividends are distinguished from stock dividends, which are payments in the form of stock.
