Medical Expense Deduction

Medical Expense Deduction means:
an allowable itemized deduction by an individual for unreimbursed payments for medical care, prescription drugs, and medical insurance premiums. The deduction is limited to the amount that exceeds 7.5% of the taxpayer's Adjusted Gross Income. IRC (check if this IRC provision is current here) §213.
