Pension Trust

Pension Trust

Pension Trust means:
a trust set up by a corporation, labor union, government entity, or other organization to pay the pension benefits of retired workers. Pension trusts invest billions of dollars annually in the stock and bond markets and are therefore a major factor in these markets. Earnings on the investment portfolios inside the pension trusts are tax exempt.
