Personal Liability

Personal Liability means:
an obligation that exposes (or potentially exposes) an individual's personal assets. Corporate stockholders generally avoid personal liability since they can lose no more than their investments in the corporation. The same holds true for limited partners, but, general partners incur personal liability.
