Readjustment

Readjustment means:
a voluntary reorganization by the stockholders of a corporation facing financial difficulties; a voluntary restructuring of a corporation's debt and capital structure. A readjustment will probably be considered a tax-free E-type reorganization. Former IRC (check if this IRC provision is current here) §368(a)(l)(e).
