Tax-exempt Security
Tax-exempt Security means:
an obligation whose interest is exempt from taxation by federal, state, and/or local authorities. Such an obligation is frequently called a municipal bond, even though it may have been issued by a state government or agency, or by a county or other political district or subdivision rather than a city or town.
