Commuting

Commuting means:
travel between a taxpayer's residence and his or her regular place of business. Commuting expenses are not deductible regardless of the distance traveled or whether work is performed during the trip. An individual can, however, deduct the costs of traveling from one place of business to another. Contrast away from home.
