Deferred Charge

Deferred Charge

Deferred Charge means:
an expenditure carried forward as an asset and amortized over the life it represents. For example, a fee paid for arranging a 30-year mortgage on income-producing real estate is a deferred charge. Deferred charges are generally amortized over the life of the asset to which the charge relates.
